One of the special things about this year’s ICC World T20 2016 is that we will be witnessing some cricket stars for the last time in action. This is because pretty soon they are retiring and therefore 2016 ICC World T20 will provide the last moments of their professional career. As their age is catching up so are the speculations arising about their last performance. It is in minds of every cricket fan whether their hero will say goodbye with a magical performance or is it going to be a dull farewell.
The cricketers who will be leaving us soon after hitting 34yrs of age are from several countries such as Mahendra Singh Dhonia and Yuvraj Singh from India, Shahid Khan Afridi from Pakistan, Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga, Australia’s Shane Watson and last but not the least Bangladesh cricket team’s captain Mashrafe Mortaza.
Probably it’s the last time that we are witnessing some ICC World Twenty20 2016 may well turn out to be the swan song of many of stars who are in the twilight of their careers and would look to bow out in style in what could be their final hurrah.
